Description

The museum traces the history of the Jews in Hungary. The museum displays religious objects from the 18th and 19th centuries from Hungary and other Central European countries. In addition, a photo exhibition about life in the ghetto of Pest and life in Hungary during the Second World War. There is a room to commemorate the Holocaust. Outside there is the cemetery and reminder garden to Wallenberg and other victims. The museum is in a wing of the synagogue, which is the largest in Europe.
