The Hungarian National Museum is the largest museum in Hungary. It contains more than 1 million artifacts. Permanent collections are the history of Hungary from the beginning of the state till 1990 and the Roman lapidarium. A time there were also the crown jewels, they are now in the parliament since 2000, only the coronation cloak is still in the museum.
